Join the Great Neighbors Partnership

Connecting with neighbors, young and old, through our Great Neighbors program we collaborate with Little Brothers Friends of the Elderly.

We’re partnering to mobilize community members to stay socially connected.

Here’s how you can help:

  • Recommend Neighbors:  individuals 60 or older who would like to be more connected to their neighborhood and have friendly visitors or companions for community events.

  • Be a Friendly Neighbors:  individuals 18 and older who would like to encourage and have friendly interactions with older adults to help prevent isolation and loneliness.

  • Consider acting as Community Ambassadors:  individuals who help coordinate the Friendly Neighbors and Neighbors to infuse the neighborhood with social interactions.  This individual is trained on the website and orientation process to welcome and introduce to each other new Neighbors and Neighbors and encourage activities.  Register online to initiate becoming a Friendly Neighbor   www.great-neighbors.org
